Hi my name is Vivienne Rodriguez, and I just took an amazing trip to Grand Cayman Islands. On August 29, my family and I got on the plane, and it had a lot of people. It was a 30 min plane ride. When I got off the plane, I was in the airport for another 30 min. When we arrived at our rental beach house I ate; then my sister and my cousins went to the pool. Then, I went to bed.
The next morning it was sunny and windy, so I went in the pool again. Then we walked down to the beach and went snorkeling with my uncle, my sister ,and my cousin. When we were in the water we saw a lion fish, we saw a lobster and it ran under a big piece of coral. After that we went downtown and went shopping to look at the local stores. When we were downtown it started raining. While it was raining there were chickens running everywhere and there were so many of them!
The next day we went on a big boat called a catamaran. It had a bed and a bathroom in it. It was so big! When we were on the catamaran we went snorkeling again, and while we were snorkeling I saw a barracuda fish and tons of very pretty coral. Also we went to see stingrays and turtles. I picked up tons of stingrays, and I touched them. They felt like big smooth mushrooms. When I was under water a stingray came right above me and one went up my back. Then we went to a starfish beach. After that we went and saw caves. Did you know if we touched anything in the caves there would be a 10,000 dollar fine and we would be banned from that country. When we were waiting there were chicks and chickens, and in the caves there were bats flying around. The last day we were there it stormed so we ate popcorn and had a movie night. That is it. I am so happy we went there and I loved it because I got to spend time with my family and celebrated my sister's 16th birthday.
