Musical Theater Hits Stage with Camel Lot Dec. 13

By Bailey Ratliff & Ariana Munitz

Musical Theater is warming up for their first performance. The play is called Camel Lot. It tells the Christmas story in a fun, entertaining way.

It features many amazing young actors, all performing under the direction of a great teacher, Mrs. Owens. Come watch them at 6 p.m. on December 13 at Generations Christian Academy in the auditorium. Admission is free.

Camel Lot is about a girl named Beth who's practicing for a musical about Jesus being born and she has a dream that her dad’s car lot becomes a camel lot. Irelyn Arnold plays Beth the main female character, and Elias Romano plays Beth’s Dad the main male character. Romano said that the audience can expect, “Excitement, Drama and Power.” Arnold said that the audience can also expect, “Singing and dancing.” This is also Irelyn’s 12th play. “It's fun to perform up on stage and be a person you're not,” she said.

So grab some popcorn and get ready for this awesome play with some of the most amazing students!
