Generations Christian Church and GCA hosted a Daddy Daughter Dance Feb. 21. It was amazing. Before the dance, volunteers helped set up the beautiful lobby. They prepared flowers and decorations. Meanwhile girls were buying their dresses and eager to share fashion plans.
Second grade girls were excited to dress up.“I’m wearing a red dress,” Juliet said.
“I’m wearing a peach dress with sparkles,” Harlynn said.
”I am wearing a purple dress with sequins,” said Addlyn.
When daughters arrived with dads at the event, there was a red carpet to walk down. The theme was pink with lovely flowers and balloons. There were fun games to play and crafts to make. There were even vases that you could color and put flowers in to take home as a memento. One of the games you had to scoop mini snowballs and put them in a cup.
Music played all night, bringing out the moves in dads and girls. Dads loved to dance with their daughters. Attendees also had a great time in the photo booth, putting on accessories and making silly faces for pictures.
All the work that went into the dance led to an evening to remember!
